IFMA has released an online survey management system entitled BEX. BEX helps you participate in IFMA surveys and participants have free and unlimited access to specific survey benchmarking data. Once enough data is collected to build a report, you can: Access survey data to compare hundreds of building reports to your facility's data, filter benchmark data specific to your needs-sort by industry, facility type, geographic region, facility size and more.
- The EPA has launched a Greener Products web portal. This portal is portal is designed to help the user navigate the increasingly important and complex world of greener products. It allows users to search for EPA programs related to greener products based on the type of user and their specific product interests. It also links to additional greener products information from EPA and other sources.
- The Carbon Disclosure Project has published the 2011 edition of their annual Global 5001 report, which examines carbon reduction activities at the world's largest public corporations.
- The U.S. Department of Energy has overhauled its website to make it easier to find localized information specific to cities, counties and states on tax credits, rebates, energy saving tips and grants. It has also adopted ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007, Energy Standard for Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings, as the new federal energy standard.
